what I know to be true

I KNOW that I have a loving Heavenly Father who loves me and cares for me.

I KNOW that He LIVES and that he wants the BEST for all of his children.

I KNOW that JESUS CHRIST is my SAVIOR and that he too loves me.

I KNOW that my SAVIOR suffered for me. 

I KNOW that He bled from EVERY PORE in his body for ME.

I KNOW that He endured being beaten, mocked, stabbed and NAILED to a cross for ME.

I KNOW that He hung and suffered extremely for ME.

I KNOW that He gave his life, that he DIED for ME. 

I KNOW that He did this for EVERYONE else.. even those who don't believe in Him.

I KNOW that He rose from the dead. 

I KNOW that He still lives.

I KNOW that someday, HE WILL COME AGAIN.

I KNOW that He loves each and every one of us, and that he was only willing to suffer through so much agony and pain- physically, emotionally and spiritually- so that we ALL can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father once again.

I KNOW that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God.

I KNOW that he was chosen because of his faith to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth.

I KNOW that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God, called in these days, to lead and guide the true church.

I KNOW that the law of tithing has great value in each of our lives. 

I KNOW that 10% is not nearly enough for all of the blessings and the peace that comes from paying it.

I KNOW that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can all repent of our sins and be saved. That we might be able to live in Heaven someday.

I KNOW that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. 

I KNOW that it is the most correct book. 

I KNOW that the statement made by the prophet Joseph Smith, listed on the title page of this wonderful Book, is true because of the feeling that I have each time I read it. [See quote below.]

I KNOW that if I live righteously, if I pay my tithing, attend the temple regularly, serve others, listen to the counsel of the prophet, and keep the commandments of God, that I will be able to be with my family FOREVER. Even after death. 

The knowledge that I have of these things provides me with great peace and comfort. It is what keeps me going on hard days. It is what pushes me to strive harder to be a better person. It is the rock in these shaky times. It is what will keep me and my family together for all eternity.

I am so grateful for my Lord and my Savior. 

I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I am so grateful for the many blessings that I have received from my Heavenly Father.

I want everyone to know how much I love our Father in Heaven.

And I know these things to be true.

I testify of these things in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
